OPERATION
CHRISTMAS CHILD
The world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child, uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world.
Individuals, families, churches and groups fill empty shoeboxes with a “wow” item—like a doll or soccer ball—and other fun toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and notes of encouragement.
During National Collection Week (Nov. 14 – 21) Samaritan’s Purse collects the gift-filled shoeboxes at more than 4,000 drop-off sites in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
AMEN House
We envision a hunger free Scott County where food rescue is second nature to every grocery, restaurant, farmer and gardener; where local businesses, churches, organizations and families fight hunger by sharing their resources through food or cash donations. As we meet the most basic need for food, we are listening to the families we serve and connecting them to other in-house programs and community partners, working together to offer opportunities for our clients to move from poverty to self-sustainability.

THE GATHERING PLACE
Our Mission is to share God’s Plan and love one another, to offer food, meet personal needs, provide emergency shelter, case management, and service referrals to connect with appropriate resources to enable a person to move from shelter dependency to self-sufficiency in the Scott County community.
The Gathering Place Mission, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, provides the only emergency homeless shelters for men, women & children in Scott County.
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives…one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.

Mission Statement: Isaiah House exists to provide comprehensive, evidence based treatment for individuals with substance use disorder by instilling hope through healing, opportunity, purpose, education, and employment for lifelong success.
